A traditional cauldron-based production of Marseille soap flakes
Soap makers in Provence since 1828, we care for the skin of young and old by crafting a Marseille soap that doesn't dry out the skin. Respectful of tradition, we continue to make our Marseille soap flakes using the traditional cauldron method in our soap factory in Provence. We meticulously select our raw materials and work with superior quality purified vegetable oils to preserve the original purity of true Marseille soap. Committed to protecting the artisanal manufacturing process of Marseille soap while evolving techniques to better meet the challenges of our time, we use an eco-responsible process patented by the INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property) since 2019. This process preserves the high quality of our olive oil Marseille soap flakes and reduces the water and energy consumption required for their production (four times less water and seven times less energy). These innovations make our Marseille soap flakes perfectly suited to sensitive skin and delicate laundry, while preserving the many beneficial properties of this age-old product. Pure soap flakes of natural origin
Our pure, fragrant soap flakes are formulated with 100% vegetable oils for unparalleled quality. Suitable for all fabrics and extra gentle on laundry thanks to their softening properties, they are kind to even the most delicate garments, such as baby clothes or delicate textiles. Free from artificial cleaning agents or color treatments, these pure, fragrant soap flakes contain no preservatives, EDTA, or phosphates. We add no foaming agents, dyes, or synthetic softeners. The soap is finely ground six times and carefully hand-dried for several days. This method results in our pure soap flakes for laundry with a very low moisture content, making them ready to use for washing. Formulated from ingredients of natural origin, effective at all temperatures, suitable for all types of washing, economical, and with recyclable PEFC kraft packaging made in France, Rampal Latour laundry flakes respect skin and the environment.

Marseille soap flakes and pure, fragrant soap flakes are finely ground to suit all types of washing. You can use them for both hand washing and machine washing. Gentle, Rampal Latour flakes provide optimal cleaning for all textiles, including the most delicate. Cotton, lycra, wool, or silk—your laundry is preserved while removing dirt. Naturally rich in softening glycerin, our hypoallergenic Marseille soap and our pure, fragrant soap are even suitable for the most fragile fabrics. They soften laundry naturally for your ultimate comfort. Effective at all temperatures, they can be usedwithout prior dilution from 40°CSimply crush them in your hand and slip a handful of shavings or flakes into the center of your laundry in the drum of your washing machine. You can also dilute them in hot water to make your own laundry detergent.Marseille soap flakes with olive oilThey release a natural scent. The white Marseille soap flakes, made with 100% vegetable oils, remain fragrance-free. For a more floral or fruity touch, the scented laundry flakes reveal a delicate note of Grasse Rose, Vine Peach, or Lavender. To suit everyone's needs, we offer our laundry flakes in different sizes: 750g for 50 washes and 1.5kg for 100 washes. You can adjust the quantity according to your usual recipe for making homemade laundry detergent.
Eco-friendly packaging for environmentally friendly glitter
We package our glitter in PEFC-certified kraft paper bags to promote natural drying. This packaging is specifically designed to allow the soap flakes to air out naturally, making them drier and easier to use. Recyclable and biodegradable, this packaging is entirely manufactured and printed in France to reduce our environmental footprint.
