Soap-making expertise preserved since 1828
Since 1828, the Rampal soap factory has perpetuated ancestral expertise by manufacturing Marseille soap in accordance with Marseille tradition. In 1951, the Rampal Latour master soap makers innovated by creating the first 3-in-1 shower shampoo. Designed to wash and nourish hair and the body, and for bubble baths, this shower shampoo, named "Geneviève Patou," remains faithful to the artisanal expertise of the Rampal Latour soap factory. Enriched with honey and formulated with ingredients of natural origin, this body and hair care product cleanses, protects, and preserves the vitality of the skin and scalp. At the time, this shower shampoo revolutionized personal hygiene and quickly became a success. This essential body and hair care product was joined in 1998 by a "Geneviève Patou" Fig-Lavender shower shampoo, designed to further soften dry hair. In 2010, our scented, certified organic shower shampoos, created in 2008, even received the title of Best Organic Range of the Year at the international New York Gift Show.

Natural shower shampoos with delicate fragrances
Drawing inspiration from the scents of Provence, we select delicate and soothing fragrances. To ensure that showering and bathing are true moments of pleasure, our shower shampoos are enriched with scents with multiple benefits. We use lavandin essential oil, invigorating grapefruit, Damask rose floral water, regulating sage, purifying bergamot, and soothing verbena.
A range of certified organic shower shampoos
In 2008, in order to expand our offering, we adapted our historic shower shampoos into a range meeting the standards of organic cosmetics. Certified organic by Ecocert Greenlife and labeled COSMEBIO, these organic body and hair care products are designed using raw materials of natural origin and from organic farming. They contain no silicones, parabens, GMOs, PEGs, glycols, petroleum jelly, paraffin, or EDTA. We have selected active ingredients with complementary and varied dermatological benefits to develop an organic range of shower shampoosthat adapts to all skin types. We notably combine certified organic olive and sweet almond oils with organic aloe vera. We also use a biolipid derived from coconut and sunflower oils for its role as a natural active ingredient. Like all our soaps, our shower shampoos consist of a plant-based cleansing base. The recyclable packaging is also part of an environmentally friendly approach.
