A natural, moisturizing Marseille soap for hands

Made from 100% natural ingredients, our Marseille hand soap contains no fragrances, additives, or preservatives. Thanks to our manufacturing process, we naturally preserve the glycerin produced during saponification. Made with olive oil, our extra-pure green Marseille soap contains 3% natural glycerin, as much as most moisturizing creams. This glycerin helps prevent skin dryness. Formulated with 100% purified vegetable oils, our white Marseille soap, on the other hand, contains +7% glycerin, making it a moisturizing soap, recommended for frequent hand washing. A gentle, natural, and zero-waste cleanser, our Marseille soap is healthy and respectful of both skin and the environment. It possesses dermatological properties ideal for fragile skinand areas that are washed daily, such as hands. Both hypoallergenic and particularly moisturizing, it cleanses hands and body without dehydrating or drying them out. Furthermore, its rich and creamy lather rinses off easily, moisturizes, and gently protects even the most sensitive skin. With its effective and healthy cleansing action, Rampal Latour Marseille soap, adapted for hand washing, has been favored for generations for daily hygiene, in addition to laundry and household cleaning. Thanks to its many benefits for the skin, it holds a prominent place in your bathroom. To meet all needs, our authentic Marseille soap comes in different formats. For hand care, we recommend our Marseille soaps in 300g bars, 150g blocks, or even 25g mini guest soaps. The iconic 600g cube is also suitable for those who prefer the traditional format.

Authentic Marseille soap made in a cauldron in Provence

Our Marseille soap, particularly suitable for hand washing, is manufactured in our soap factory in Provence. Keen to preserve an ancestral savoir-faire dating back to 1828, our master soap makers perpetuate the tradition by continuing to produce superior quality Marseille soap. Respecting the so-called "Marseille" manufacturing process, our Marseille soaps are made in a cauldron. We meticulously select high-quality vegetable oils with toxicologist experts to obtain an extra-pure soap. Composed only of purified vegetable oils, water, salt, and soda, it is easily biodegradable.

An eco-responsible patented manufacturing process that preserves natural glycerin

For nearly 2 centuries, the Rampal family has been innovating while perpetuating a traditional craftsmanship and trade. By combining tradition and modernity, we have evolved the manufacturing method of our authentic Marseille soap. Demanding and committed, we ensure the quality of our raw materials. This traditional manufacturing process, resulting from 3 years of research, notably allows us to preserve the moisturizing glycerin naturally generated during the saponification process within the soap. Patented by the INPI since 2019, it also allows us to consume 4 times less water and 7 times less energy during the production of olive oil Marseille soap. In addition to offering a superior quality extra-pure Marseille soap for the skin, we wanted to address the challenges of our time, particularly environmental expectations. We also ensure no discharge into wastewater. Thanks to this unique technique and highly pure ingredients, our Marseille soap, suitable for hand washing, is COSMOS Natural certified by Ecocert Greenlife.
