How to use Marseille soap flakes?

For machine washing:

For clean and fresh laundry, you will need 15g of Marseille soap flakes (15g = 2 heaped tablespoons). The proportions remain the same regardless of the water temperature chosen for the wash cycle.

From 40°C: Take a handful of flakes (15 g) in your hand, then crush them and disperse them in the heart of the laundry, directly in the drum.
Below 40°C: Dilute the 15g of shavings in a glass of hot water before adding them to the drum.

For hand washing:

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of flakes in a glass of very hot water before adding it to 5 liters of water. Wash the laundry and then rinse thoroughly.
